Energy Storage System (ESS) – Power Conversion System (PCS)
As demand of energy self consumption and independence of gird increase, Energy storage systems (ESS) combined with renewable energy are one of the MOSt critical components that is leading the change of the entire energy industry. ESS demands will be increased when recycled battery cell that are sorted from electric vehicles is rapidly increased. ESS can be coupled with various energy supply chain such as solar inverter, UPS and EV chargers
ESS power conversion system is bi-directional for both charging and backup mode. Residential ESS combined with solar panels is broadly categorized into DC- or AC-coupled systems
Typical power rating of residential ESS is 3kW~12kW.
